Sujata Srikanteswaran

Hello...   I am Sujata (call me Su),a UX Design professional/ Software Quality Engineer with 10+ years of experience in the tech space working on SAAS and desktop solutions including Cloud tech, Database/Devops tools, and observability and monitoring applications. 

Having worked as a quality engineer for six years in the software sector, it was not surprising to find that good UX can benefit from good quality thinking. Testing the product/app after every sprint, conducting regression tests, concluding with usability tests, quality is an integral part of the software development life cycle, as much as UX is. Piqued by an interest to study Quality control in a manufacturing environment, I pursued my Masters in Industrial Engineering and, curiously enough, discovered that User Experience design has its roots in Fredrick Taylor’s theory of scientific management that researches into the efficiency of interactions between workers and their tools. This natural segue of interests led me to dive deeper into User Experience Design, and here I am - a process-driven UX/ UI designer committed to bridging the gap between user experiences and business goals.
